Starting out as a years-long hobby, Nordic-Woodworks grew into a small business when we began selling items locally. Using carefully selected hardwoods like black walnut, American cherry, and maple, each piece is carefully handcrafted and finished to highlight the wood’s natural color and figure. We never use stains or dyes.

All the products we make are sanded to a beautiful satiny surface. Items that are meant for contact with food are finished with a blend of food-grade mineral oil and beeswax that is easy to wipe clean and maintain. Indoor furniture pieces are finished with a durable polyurethane that is water-proof and easy to clean. Outdoor furniture is finished with renewable water sealant.
